Why Fuji Classic

The Only Public Course Operated by the Masters Behind Hokkaido Classic Golf Club and Tokyo Classic Club.

This is not just a golf course.

This is Fuji Classic—where the soul of Japan’s most iconic mountain meets the spirit of the game.

Created by the hands behind Japan’s most revered private clubs, Fuji Classic is their one and only gift to the public.

An 18-hole journey open to the world, inviting you to breathe in the sacred silence, feel the power of Mount Fuji, and play where nature humbles and elevates all at once.  It’s not just golf—it’s a rare encounter with Japan’s natural majesty. A links course like no other, where every shot echoes in the shadow of Fuji.

We got featured on Forbes

"The closest golf course to Mount Fuji, Fuji Classic provides stunning views of Japan’s sacred mountain. In addition to its views, Fuji Classic seamlessly blends the natural beauty of its surroundings with its golf holes like a Japanese garden that sprouted tee boxes, fairways, and greens. "

POV: Playing Golf at Fuji Classic

"I’Ive played countless golf courses across Japan, but Fuji Classic is by far one of my absolute favorites. It’s just so different from anything else—and it makes total sense why it’s a top pick among tourists. I’m a local, and yet this view still gives me chills every time.

If you’re planning a trip to Japan, you have to play here. Otherwise, you’ll watch this video later and regret not checking Fuji Classicoff your bucket list. "

9:00am

Tee Off (Holes 1–9)

Wide fairway with white sand bunkers under a clear blue sky and distant mountains

Pick up a range token (coin) at the master room outside, and hit a few balls at the driving range. Then head to the first tee and start your round. Game on.

Lunch Break

Tonkatsu set lunch with shredded cabbage and rice served at the clubhouse restaurant

After finishing the front nine, enjoy a 45-minute to 1-hour lunch at the clubhouse. It’s a full sit-down meal—part of the culture, not a snack break. Trust us, the food is good.

12:20pm

Finish the Back Nine (Holes 10–18)

Water-ringed green glowing in late-afternoon light with mountains behind

Refreshed and maybe in a food coma, you’re back out to finish the job. 9 more holes to go—don’t let that Tonkatsu Curry slow you down.

Hot Bath & Sauna

After your round, bring your change of clothes and head to the bathhouse. Soak in the hot bath, relax in the sauna, and let it all go. Bad score? Doesn’t matter anymore.
